I have been feeling like death for the last 6 days - and the snowpocalypse has meant student health has been closed and I haven’t been able to get antibiotics (reminding me that I really need to get a GP here!) and have continued feeling like death.
Well, today momsers rec’d I go to a CVS minute clinic since school was again closed. A quick metro ride to Bethesda later and a 10 minute walk I had reached Mecca.
The nurse prac was super nice and gave me the amoxicillin prescript that I asked for, after checking my vitals and all that jazz. All in all, great experience - but probably helped by the fact I knew I had a sinus infection and knew exactly what prescript I usually get for it. There was no one in line so I waited 3.2 seconds while I filled out a form with my name and address.
So happy antibiotics + sudafed can work their magic on me tonight. Here’s to hoping I feel more like a human and less like a zombie ASAP!
my favorite thing about this post is that you spelled out Snowpocalypse and amoxicillin, and then abbreviated rec’d, prac, and prescript :-D fabulous! by the way, I’m Sarah! I found your blog through alwaysregal. I went to college with her, and live in NoVa. Hi!
